The Library is considerably volunteer-run, with people in our core community making an incredibly wide array of different contributions to the overall project. The common feature of all volunteer projects is that they arise organically out of people’s personal engagement with the Library. We two co-founders are limited in our ability to develop, train, and assign projects on a regular basis. Rather, the volunteer relationships that have flourished are those in which the interested person develops their own relationship to both the collection and the Library as a social environment, and develops a proposal for what they would want their own contribution to be.

Alumnae, Hosting Consortium and Volunteers

Bryan Boyce,Library host 2015–2020; 2021–2024

Devin Smith – Thursday hours and Stacks Explorer project, Library host 2018–2024

Adrianne Finelli Library host 2015–2020

Nate Hoffelder, Webmaster, 2016–2022

Sarah Benlolo, collections volunteer, 2015–2020

Monica Westin, Library host 2018 – 2020

Jessica Cebra, collections volunteer, 2018–2019

Katarina Lachenal, Library host 2017–2018

Alicia Toldi, collections volunteer 2017–2018

Charlie Macquarie, 2014, collections volunteer; Library host 2015–2019; Place Talks co-curator through 2020

David Wiegleb, Library host 2017–2018

Annegret Spranger, collections volunteer 2015–2017

Tim Slaughter, collections volunteer 2015–2016

Lindsey Dupler, 2015 volunteer, hosting support, off-site explorations, hospitality

Christina Corfield collections volunteer 2013; created the Finding Aid for the Oversize Ephemera collection

Emma Hurst winter 2013 intern

Freya Channing, collections processing lead and Library host, 2008–2011, and Fall, 2013

Juliayn Coleman, Summer 2010 volunteer bookbinder

Heather Jovanelli, collections volunteer 2011–2013

Pamela Jackson, collections volunteer 2006; Library host 2007

Karla Nielsen, Summer 2008 hosting support, collections stewardship

Dawn Marsh Wilson, 2009 hosting support, digital asset management

Kevin Darling, Summer and Fall, 2010, collections volunteer

Antonella Bonfanti, Summer 2011, hosting support

Courtney Fellion, 2012 original WordPress site developer

Sara Garvey, January 2012, collections processing

Kris Ashley, development volunteer, Fall 2013

Jeremy Blatter, Summer 2006 intern, Summer 2007 intern

If you have made a contribution to the Library’s collections and public offerings and do not see your name listed here, please get in touch!
