The February event was attended by as many as 75+ people, only about 40 of whom got to sit, so come early for a seat! Congratulations, Nicole and Charlie, for another blockbuster season!<\/p>\n<p>Other supplemental features of <strong>March<\/strong> include Adrianne &amp; Bryan\u2019s quarterly <strong>Sunday<\/strong> hours on <strong>the 8th,<\/strong> followed by special Place Talks hours on <strong>Sunday<\/strong> the <strong>15th. Extra hours!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Off-hours Library events in March include an SF State University class visit on March 5th and a music production evening late in the month.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Onward to April!<\/strong><br \/>\nThe Library will host an opening event on <strong>Sunday the 5th of April<\/strong> for resident painter<a href=\"http:\/\/www.jgouldthorpe.com\/\"> James Gouldthorpe,<\/a> who has been bending media by using print magazine imagery as source material for fine paintings, and will present large-format compositions made from many paintings at this event. The works will then be up for at least a week.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Further Onward: to May!<\/strong><br \/>\nThe Library will host a reading and chapbook release party on <strong>Sunday the 17th of May<\/strong> to celebrate the finished work of resident poet <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Renny_Pritikin\">Renny Pritikin.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Also in May we are looking forward to the residency of powerhouse archivist, librarian, activist, writer, and artist <a href=\"https:\/\/eiratansey.com\/about\/\">Eira Tansey:<\/a> Eira plans to spend up to three weeks in residence on research &#8220;related to archives, geospatial data, and climate change,\u201d (to pull 8 words out of a detailed proposal).<\/p>\n<p>Note that the <strong>March<\/strong> hosting calendar features special guest host <a href=\"http:\/\/devinsmith.work\/\">Devin Smith,<\/a> who will cover Wednesday the 18th for the co-founders when we are out of town. Thank you, Devin!<\/p>\n<p>The March calendar is a collaborative effort of library hosts Monica, Jay, Carolee, Adrianne, Bryan, Nicole, Charlie, Devin, and MSP and RP!<\/p>\n<p>p.s.
