Part of the Library’s fall series of Resident Artist works: Sunday the 13th, doors at 6 p.m., event at 7. The Library is delighted to host a reading by novelist and writer in residence Nishant Batsha.
Nishant is working on a collection of novels that weave together the global movement, tragedy, and resilience of two migrants as they make their way to California in the mid-1980s. His reading on the 13th will be from work-in-progress. He will also be discussing his research, his writing practice, and his use of this Library. Nishant is a 2019-2020 Affiliate Artist at the Headlands Center for the Arts as well as a writer in residence here with us since February.
