In September, 2025, we learned that the fundraising platform Flipcause is experiencing a crisis and may cease to exist in the near future. Our fiscal sponsor organization, Intersection for the Arts, which had originally set up the Flipcause platform, has responded by establishing a new relationship with the fundraising platform Every.org.
Most visitors are not financial supporters and we don’t want them to feel that they should; the Library exists to support free access to all in regards to its materials. Yet, the Library is 100% community-supported, even though there is only a bit of overlap between library supporters and library reserachers. To the extent that there is only a bit of overlap, the fundraising platform can be thought of as a transfer of resources from the library supporters to the library users. Thank you! The Library could not push into the future its trove of memory resources without the incredible generosity of the support community.
In this time of transition we appreciate the patience of all supporters who will be imposed upon to transfer their support plan from Flipcasue to Every.org.
