Drop-in Hours Three Days a Week. No appointment needed. Please visit! Chilled sparkling water offered to every visitor!

Sunday afternoons: 1:30 – 4 p.m. host, Thom Blum’s live sound art performance “The Instrullation” accompanies these unique research hours.
Tuesdays: 11 – 5 p.m. Host is a zine artist
Wednesdays: 12:30 – 7 p.m.

TO FIND US : Use the intercom near the street entrance at 301 8th Street in San Francisco to find a button marked “Prelinger Library.” Press the button to be buzzed in, and take the elevator to the second floor.

Visitors with a specific inquiry in mind are encouraged to send a message to info@prelingerlibrary.org ahead of time, to allow us to pull materials (or advise on the extent to which the Library’s holdings may or may not address that inquiry). Thanks!
