Musician & composer Thom Blum of the San Francisco Tape Music Collective will stage live performance events of “YOU ARE [HERE] You [Are] You Here” a multilevel soundmap of the Library, a low-density distributed sound art installation. These free drop-in events will be hosted by Thom, and “will offer the library as an acoustically enhanced browsing environment. The installation pulls listeners around the stacks in ways that wouldn’t happen without invisible sonic guides…”
