October News: Planned Reopening

With indoor cultural spaces opening up, we are getting ready to continue the Bay Area’s tradition of independent, artist-serving, activist-friendly resource exchange spaces. Thanks to the Library’s support community, we continue to be rent-stable and optimistic about the collection’s readiness to serve the future.

We’ve been spending the summer and early fall reorganizing, decluttering and making collections more accessible (with the help of our steady volunteer Jay Bolcik), and supporting long-distance research. Upon reopening, the Library will be cleaner, more spacious, and better organized than it has ever been before.

Guidelines for indoor cultural spaces indicate 25% capacity, so please roll with us, as we manage the inevitably irregular process of reopening with appointment calendar software and managed capacity. Current target date is Wednesday, October 28, but please check back for updates. We are really looking forward to facilitating your visits once again!
